Carpet is still the right answer for bedrooms and stairs: warm, quiet, and forgiving underfoot. The difference between a good carpet fit and a poor one shows up at the edges and on the stairs, not in the middle of the room.
Stairs in particular are their own skill. Every tread and riser has to be tight and even, the nosings crisp, and a winder or a curved bottom step needs cutting and fitting individually. Done well it looks like it grew there; done badly you see it every time you go up.
We supply and fit, including underlay and grippers, and we will take the old carpet away. If you have already chosen something from a supplier, we are happy to just fit it.
